DVNF’s donation will support Homes for the Brave’s Training for Success Vocational and Educational Program. Staff work one-to-one with residents and visiting Veteran Service Center guests, connecting them with available educational and employment opportunities.

Veterans receive assistance with resume writing, job searching, and interview preparation. The Program offers computer classes to all Veterans.

HFTB provides a number of programs and services to men and women experiencing homelessness, almost all of whom are Veterans. Offerings include safe and secure housing, case management, mental health services, life skills workshops, computer classes, vocational training, therapy dog visits, and much more.

“All of us at Homes for the Brave are extremely appreciative of the generous support from The Disabled Veteran National Foundation. This donation will directly help our male and female Veterans in attaining employment and/or educational goals that will enable them to support themselves as they move into permanent living situations,” said Vincent Santilli, chief executive officer.

DVNF is a national organization that provides needed support to disabled Veterans who leave the military either physically or psychologically wounded from fighting for our freedom.

The organization provides housing to those struggling with homelessness and mental and physical wellness. It also works with many community organizations whose main focus is giving support to veterans in their areas.

The Training for Success Vocational and Educational Program provides personalized support to Veterans in search of employment or educational opportunities that will increase their marketable skills and earning potential.
