If you didn’t get your flu shot yet, you can make an appointment for one on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Town Hall Gymnasium, Darien Health Department announced Tuesday.

The vaccine used by the department is preservative free and available to those over 3 years old. A high dose is available to those over the age of 65.
The cost is $40, payable by check or cash (exact amount only), althgh the department accepts ConnectiCare and Medicare Part B insurance as well.
Please fill out the consent form and bring it with you to your appointment.
According to the state Public Health Department, if you can’t come on Nov.5, here are alternate vaccine locations. (Hardly any of the locations are near Darien, with Stratford the closest one. That town has vaccinations tomorrow, Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
