Audrey A. Lexander a resident of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday May 7. She was 95.

Audrey Lexander, 95, passed away on May 7. Her wake and funeral will take place on May 17.
She was born Nov. 3, 1928 in New York City to the late Ivar Lexander and Bernadette Huneke Lexander.
Audrey graduated from high school and then began her career as executive assistant for Chesebrough-Pond’s USA, Inc. in Greenwich. She was also active in the Over Sixty Club senior citizen center in Stamford.
Audrey was a devout Catholic and was a longtime parishioner of St. John Church in Darien. Even when she was not able to make it to mass the last few years, she always looked forward to her weekly communion that was graciously brought to her in her home. In her spare time, Audrey enjoyed reading.
In addition to her friends and neighbors, Audrey is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her dedicated caretaker, Lolly, who remembers Audrey as a very loving and caring person who will be missed by all.
A visitation will be held from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. John Church, 1986 Post Road. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
