Frank Kemp obit obituary

This picture is from Frank Kemp’s obituary.

He served as board president at Darien Arts Center for many years and was a continually active member of our community. From major leadership decisions and the development of thriving programming to running the lightboard and making sure the backstage headsets and mics had fresh batteries at every event to opening his own home to visiting performers, Frank gave equally significant value to every task he undertook.

Volunteering countless hours at DAC, he was passionate about making sure the arts center was a thriving community staple. He even graced our stage in the dance academy’s production of The Nutcracker this past December with a smile that only grew brighter with each performance.

Frank was a force of positivity with an eye for talent, who warmly pulled individuals into his orbit, forging long lasting and fruitful connections.

We will remember him with love, cherish the initiative he took and will honor Frank by continually striving for more, being fearless with new approaches and always paying close attention to the details.
