The Darien Depot Youth Center is hosting a workshop for parents of students in Grades 9 and 10 with advice on getting them ready for school and college admissions.
The free seminar, presented by Successful Study Skills 4 Students and Collegewise, starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2 at the Depot, 25 Heights Road.

Parents will learn the answers to these and other questions:
- What should students do now, in and out of school, to help them be more successful when they eventually apply to college
- Understand the timeline for college testing and applications
- What 3 essential study habits should your student learn now to be successful in school and in college
