Grammy Award Winner Marc Cohn will perform in concert with The Coasters on Thursday, April 4 to benefit Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County. The singer/songwriter is best known for his hit song Walking in Memphis, from his 1991 album of the same name. — an announcement from the CLC and the Palace Theatre

Cohn will be joined on the stage of the Palace Theatre by The Coasters, inductees in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and considered to be one of the most famous doowop groups. Their hits include, Yakety Yak, Charlie Brown, Poison Ivy and Love Potion #9. CLC will also honor Thasunda Brown Duckett, a Greenwich resident and chief executive officer of Chase Consumer Banking.

It’s a night of golden oldies with the famed rhythm and blues and rock and roll vocal group!  Hear hits like “Yakety Yak,” “Charlie Brown,” “Searchin’” “Poison Ivy” and “Young Blood.”
