The following Darien roads will be resurfaced or repaved in areas of major water main replacement work as follows:

Noroton Avenue, from Chestnut Street to Middlesex Road, milling and preparatory work on Nov. 1 and paving on Nov. 2. Middlesex Road, from Ox Ridge Lane to Mansfield Avenue, milling on Nov. 1 and paving on Nov.

Update: Tuesday, Aug. 2, 12:08 p.m.:

The Darien Department of Public Works has run into a problem with this year’s road paving, so the dates when streets will be paved has changed. “Due to an equipment malfunction our program start date has been pushed from Aug. 4, 2016 to Aug. 8,” the department announced at about noon on Tuesday.
