You may get the feeling of deja vu from this police report — because a very similar incident occurred two months ago with a New Canaan woman leaving her expensive jewelry in a cup holder on an exercise machine at Equinox fitness club in Darien. In the previous incident, a 25-year-old woman told police in July that she left a Cartier woman’s watch in a cup holder on a cardio machine on July 21. She valued the watch at $2,780. In the most recent case, a 34-year-old New Canaan woman was on a treadmill on Sept. 18 and left her Rolex watch in the cup holder.
