About the Presenters

Julia Strayer, CPWA, CIMA, CRPC Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor.  Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2000, Julia was a vice president and private banker for BankBoston’s Private Bank for 7 years, responsible for asset management and trust services. Previously, Julia worked in marketing for 9 years with Merrill. Julia has a BA from Ohio State University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Join a new monthly roundtable meeting with lectures and discussions designed to assist women in reaching financial independence is starting at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 21 at Darien Library. This month’s discussion tries to answer the question, “What is going on in the market?” An easy-to-follow discussion on what has been going on in the financial markets. We’ll reveal what’s been moving the markets and why, then take a look ahead to see what may happen in the remainder of 2017.
