Anyone blind or with other reading disabilities will have a new resource at Darien Library starting next week: a new collection of books and magazines in audio and braille formats. — an announcement from Darien Library
The collection, from the Library of Congress’ National Library Service (NLS) for the Blind and Print Disabled, includes non-fiction, fiction, bestsellers, magazines, and music for all ages in a variety of world languages. On Feb. 21, Darien Library will officially become a “hub” for the Connecticut State Library, CT Library for Accessible Books (CTLAB). The CTLAB is a network library of the NLS.
