Police: Argument at Home Gets Physical, Man and Woman Get Summonses

A man and a woman in a Patton Drive home got into a physical altercation Thursday, April 2, resulting in minor injuries to one or both of them and misdemeanor summonses for both.

Darien police gave this account of what happened, including accusations not proven in court:

Police were called at 7:07 p.m., but the phone was hung up at the caller’s end. Calls to 911 are identified to police. Officers went to the home and found that a man, 54, and a woman, 40, got into an argument that became physical.

When a third person at the home called police, but the call was abruptly ended by the man involved in the altercation. He was charged with interfering with an emergency call. He and the woman in the altercation were each charged with disorderly conduct and told to appear the next day in state Superior Court. The case is now in state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
