Avon Theatre presents the Anglo-Indian film Salaam Bombay! (1988) on Thursday, May 17, and after the performance, the director, Mira Nair, will take questions from the audience.
The film, shown at 7:30 p.m. won the Golden Camera and Prix de Publique awards at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
