John Dankosky, an award-winning host of several National Public Radio programs, will talk about “The State of Journalism and the News” on Thursday, May 24 at the Darien League of Women Voters annual meeting. The public is invited.

Dankosky, executive editor of the New England News Collaborative, has held the chair in journalism and communications at Central Connecticut State University. He is a regular moderator for political debates and conversations.

League members will gather at 10 a.m. for the annual meeting. Lunch, beginning at 11 a.m., and the program to follow are open to the community. The events take place at the Country Club of Darien, 300 Mansfield Avenue.
