Visiting Nurse and Hospice has invited Simmi Narula, RN to lead a drumming and music class at Darien Senior Center. Drum therapy is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression.

A complementary lunch will be provided at 12 noon, with the class at 12:30 p.m.

From the shams of Mongolia to the Minianka healers of West Africa, therapeutic rhythm techniques have been used for thousands of years to create and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Music and drums will provide the beats and Simmi Narula, R.N. will lead you in free flow body movements. *Space is strictly limited to 30 participants.
