The evening begins with wine and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace and a chance to meet the authors, followed by the authors’ presentation and a joint Q&A. This year we are pleased to welcome Jamie Brenner, Maile Meloy and Jane Green.”

In Jamie Brenner’s “The Forever Summer,” twenty-eight-year-old Marin Bishop is at the top of her game.

But an office fling in a moment of weakness costs Marin her career, as well as her upcoming marriage. And, when Rachel shows up claiming to be her half-sister, her life further unravels.

Maile Meloy

Seeking escape, she joins Rachel to meet the grandmother she never knew she had at the B&B she owns in Provincetown.

As the summer unfolds, it becomes clear that the truth of her half-sister is just the beginning of revelations that will change Marin’s life forever.

Full of delicious descriptions of coastal New England and richly imagined characters, “The Forever Summer” is an emotional, hot-topic page-turner.

Do Not Become Alarmed book cover 2017Maile Meloy, author of “Do Not Become Alarmed” has created another story full of unexpected twists and turns.

When Liv and Nora decide to take their husbands and children on a holiday cruise, everyone is thrilled. But when they all go ashore for an adventure in Central America, the vacation turns into a nightmare when the children go missing.

The disintegration of the world the families knew — told from the perspectives of both the adults and the children — is both riveting and revealing.

Jane Green

Maile Meloy has written a gripping novel about how quickly what we count on can fall away, and the way a crisis shifts our perceptions of what matters most.

Jane Green, whose books are favorite summer fare, has a new novel, “The Sunshine Sisters,” that Jojo Moyes calls her “best yet.”

Ronni Sunshine left London for Hollywood to become a star of the silver screen. But at home, she was a narcissistic mother who cruelly alienated her three daughters.

Jane Green The Sunshine Sisters book cover 2017As each sister leaves home to forge her own life, bitter scars fester. Years pass, and when Ronnie becomes seriously ill, they reunite and discover compassion and the unbreakable bond of family.

Written with wit and wisdom, “The Sunshine Sisters” is a psychologically compelling story.
