Dana Mack is an historian, writer, and musician living in Connecticut. Her articles on history, music, culture, education, and family issues have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Commentary, The New Criterion and many other publications.

Her novel tells the story of ‘Lisi, daughter of a successful banker in Berlin, who comes of age during Germany’s rigid Wilhelmine years of the late 1800s, and of the first challenges faced by German Jews who suffered long before Hitler ever took power.
