- Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles offices will close at 12:30 p.m., and remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 17. And they’re normally closed on Mondays. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 7:45 a.m.
- Darien Public Schools are closed.
SATURDAY, Feb. 17
- Darien Transfer Station/Recycling Center/Dump is OPEN normal hours
WASHINGTON’S BIRTHDAY, Feb. 19
Closed:
- Darien Public Schools are closed all week for February break.
- Darien Town Hall is closed.
- Darien Senior Center is closed.
- YWCA Darien/Norwalk is closed.
- New York Stock Exchange is closed.
- Connecticut state offices are closed.
- Federal government offices are closed.
- U.S. Postal Service — the Post Office — is closed.
Open:
- Darien Transfer Station/Recycling Center/Dump is OPEN normal hours
- Darien Library is open.
- Darien YMCA is open.
TRANSIT:
- CT Transit buses will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
- Norwalk Transit Authority buses will run on a regular weekday schedule.
