Lane closures on parts of the Merritt Parkway and Interstate 95 will take place this week in Stamford, New Canaan and Norwalk, the state Department of Transportation has announced.

The closures, which generally mean slower traffic, are for bridge inspection work, according to the ConnDOT announcement.

Stamford — Merritt Parkway between Exits 35 and 36, northbound-traffic and southbound-traffic, right-and left-lane closures

TUESDAY, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
