National Weather Service Issues ‘Special Weather Statement’ About the Cold

The National Weather Service issued this regional “Special Weather Statement” Saturday morning along with a “Wind Chill Warning.” The statement lists various dangers in unusually frigid weather for people, pets, houses and cars. Some of it is obvious, but even that is worth remembering. Please don’t get distracted, and pay attention: It’s different out there.
