‘What It Is’ Band Back Rocking The Fez in Stamford

A Connecticut-based premium act with full horn section, studio level vocalists and musicians, “What It Is” plays a mix of genres- rock, soul, pop, jazz and even a little country! The four-piece monster horn section, hip rhythm professionals and talented vocalists enables a wide ranging repertoire that includes Steely Dan, Chicago, Tower of Power, Brian Setzer Big Band, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Bruno Mars, Paul Simon, Al Green, George Straight and many more. The band has a busy schedule performing at clubs, parties and concerts throughout the tri-state area. This summer What It Is performed in multiple venues. Most notably as the opening act for The Fabulous Thunderbirds on Friday July 21 at the Hamden Summer Concert Series, the New Rochelle Summer Concert Series at Hudson Park on July 26, the Durham Fair on Friday, Sept 22, and in the intimate environment of The Fez on July 22 and now again on Sept 16.
