During the time a contractor was working on her home, a Dubois Street woman told Darien police, a bowl valued at $4,830 went missing from her home. The homeowner told police at about noon on Sunday that she was away at work and no one else was in the home but the contractor’s employees. The police announcement about the theft did not specify the time period (even generally) when the workers were there. Police have started to investigate the matter.
