Free Seminar for Parents at Depot on Helping Students Transition to a New Grade

The Darien Depot, is proud to host a free seminar, “7 Skills All Students Need for a Successful Transition to a New Grade, open to all area parents. In this informative and highly interactive workshop, parents will learn seven evidence-based techniques as to how they can help their student stay focused, complete homework with purpose and crispness, achieve higher confidence, to get better results. This no-cost workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 7 p.m., at The Depot Youth Center 25 Heights Road, Darien, CT 06820. “We are pleased make this free presentation available to our parents, just at the time they are thinking about transitioning their student to the next grade,” says Pam Ha-Stevenson, Board Member. “This workshop will give parents support as to how they can successful transition their student to the next grade — and what to expect.”

The workshop is free, but registration is requested.
