Still Time to Enter the Pic Darien Smartphone Photo Contest

Those wanting to get their 15 minutes of fame, or just some recognition for taking a great photo with their phone, can enter the Darien Arts Center’s smartphone photo contest, Pic Darien, through April 4. The contest is open to all: there is no age limit, and contestants do not need to be a Darien resident to enter. Those entering the contest will get to see their snapshots up on a big screen at two upcoming DAC events. The first, a complimentary Award and Reveal Reception is on April 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. and open to the public. A slideshow set to music will debut the winning photographs as well as all other photo entries on the DAC Weatherstone Studio’s 184” HD movie screen.
