William Flanagan Jr., 88 or 89 years old, died Thursday, Aug. 20. The former Darien resident had served eight years on the Planning & Zoning Commission, four years on the Monuments and Ceremonies Commission and a year on the Representative Town Meeting. Born in Bridgeport on August 22, 1959, he was the son of Eugene and Barbara (Grassi) Gallucci of Fairfield. Mr. Gallucci was currently a service director for Porsche and employed in the automotive industry for over 30 years. Joe was an excellent cook, an avid cyclist and a race car driver. His great sense of humor and quick-wittedness will be missed by all who knew him.
