Expect Delays Thursday in Noroton Heights Business District for Natural Gas Project

Due to construction work for the installation of natural gas mains in downtown Noroton Heights, expect delays Thursday, June 7 on West Avenue between Hollow Tree Ridge Road and Edgerton Street and the closure of Edgerton between West Avenue and Heights Road. Darien police announced the road closure and delays the same morning. “The Darien Police Department asks that all motorists plan trips through the affected areas accordingly and consider alternate routes if possible,” said the announcement, posted on Instagram and Facebook just after 8 a.m. “We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as this natural gas expansion project moves forward. “Further traffic advisories and updates will be issued as required.
