Avoid the water and the bunker — but give area school kids the chance to learn about the water and bunker, and seals and sharks and other marine animals — by teeing up for the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk’s 7th annual Maritime Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 11. Foursomes and individual golfers can register now for this fun day at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien. Proceeds provide financial assistance for science education, scholarships and subsidized bus transportation for thousands of children who benefit all year from the learning that takes place at The Maritime Aquarium.
