A 22-year-old Darien woman who bought a boat online from a seller in Wisconsin spent $10,000 — but the boat never came, police were told. The 18-foot boat, built by Bayliner, was bought from Rawhide Inc. on May 11 via eBay and shipped from Wisconsin with its trailer. Through Uship.com, the buyer paid J&S Enterprises $500 to transport the purchase. That company confirmed to police that it was paid to get the boat and trailer to Darien. But an Alabama-based company, E&S Moving Systems LLC of Mobile,  was hired as a subcontractor for the job, and police hadn’t been able to get in touch with that business by the time of the police report early this week.
