Lane Closures Coming Saturday Thru Wednesday in & Near Darien

In and around Darien this weekend, April 22 to 24 and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 to 26, lanes or restrictions will be on these roads, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced. The department’s latest announcement is on top of road closures in downtown Stamford this weekend and Merritt Parkway ramp closures on Wednesday. From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, a surveying operation will result in lane closures between Exit 31 (North Street, near the New York state border) and Exit 33 (Den Road, Stamford). “Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions,” the department said in an announcement. In other words, don’t hold them to that schedule of days or times.
