The video comes just before this year’s Turkey Bowl, where Darien meets New Canaan, a week from today, on Turkey Day. You can’t possibly be a true Blue Wave football fan without seeing it, preferably right this instant, and lucky for you, we’ve got it right here:

Now ranked No. 1 in the FCIAC, the team plays Fairfield at 4 p.m., Friday at Darien for its first playoff game. If the video (or our civilization) doesn’t get destroyed in the next 30 years, this is what middle-aged DHS alums will be playing back at reunions to remember the glory days. Maybe it’ll be converted to a hologram. These are the good old days.
