Reindeer and Santa Are Live at Greenwich Reindeer Festival and Santa’s Workshop

Santa and his live reindeer are returning to Greenwich for Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa’s Workshop. Children, adults, and pets (on leashes) can have their photo taken with Santa, meet the reindeer — Dancer, Dasher and Prancer. The community is invited to Sam Bridge for a “We’re Back Day” on Friday, Nov. 26, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., when Santa’s Workshop officially opens for photos with Santa at the 13th annual event. While waiting for the reindeer to arrive in the afternoon, everyone can enjoy special refreshments and other special activities.

Starting Friday, Nov.  25 and continuing through Christmas Eve, Santa’s live reindeer will take up residence in Greenwich, starting with a “We’re Back” party at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses. Head to the “We’re Back” Party at the business from 12 noon to 6 p.m. At noon, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Santa’s Workshop with sponsors and various public officials in attendance. This is the eighth year for the reindeer visit in Greenwich. Photos with Santa begin shortly after 12 noon, immediately following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
