Gather your Easter baskets and come out for an Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of the Darien Community Association. Please come early, as the Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10 a.m. sharp on Friday, March 30 — Good Friday — and takes only a few minutes. A special appearance by the Easter Bunny makes this a wonderful morning. Parking at the DCA is limited, carpooling is encouraged.
Easter baskets with chocolate bunnies will bring Easter magic to needy children, as the United Church of Rowayton follows its annual tradition of collecting baskets for local youngsters. Everyone in the community is invited to join in the drive. Suggested items to put in a basket include chocolate bunnies, toys, small games, coloring books, crayons and wrapped candy. Baskets can be dropped off at the Meeting House directly behind the church at 210 Rowayton Ave. from now until Thursday, March 29.
