The Darien Community Association’s DCA Thrift Shop could use some help during the holiday season. Here’s a call for volunteers in the DCA newsletter:
No experience is necessary, and you’ll love the feeling of helping others — and have fun while you’re doing it. Staffing during this holiday and winter season is very challenging with volunteers’ travel schedules. We need additional help to support the good work of the shop and the DCA. Volunteers help tidy clothing, price items, create in-store and window displays, and sell to customers. Consider helping with a friend – whether it be a regular shift, or just a few hours.
