|
Darien police charged a boyfriend and girlfriend, both 32 years old, after police said the pair damaged property at The Heights in Darien during a domestic dispute that spilled outdoors. Darien police described the incident with this account (including accusations not proven in court):
Police were called to Allen O’Neill Drive at 12:25 a.m. on Friday, March 26 on a report of a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they saw the man and woman yelling at each other, with the woman trying to stop the man from leaving in his vehicle. The man was walking on the street, followed by his son, 4 or 5 years old. He told police the argument began over his girlfriend leaving the boy, who is not related to her, with a neighbor.
