An employee at the H&L Chevrolet dealership at 1416 Post Road found on Saturday morning that tires and rims had been stolen from numerous cars in the outside lot overnight. After police arrived at the scene, it was discovered that a white van had been stolen, as well. Each set of tires and rims was priced at roughly $1,000, and the 2017 Chevrolet Express van was priced at $28,592 — making for a total loss of about $52,600. A ladder at nearby Gardner’s Center & Florist may have been used to get into the H&L lot, police said. The tires were 22 inches, all from 2017 Chevrolet vehicles, including Tahoe and Suburban SUVs and at least one Silverado pickup truck.
