DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
On the last weekend before the DMV’s extensions end for expired registrations (end of day Tuesday, Oct. 13), DMV offices are closed (from 12:30 p.m., Friday to 7:45 a.m. Tuesday). AAA offices, which perform some DMV functions, are open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but they’re also closed on Columbus Day. TRANSPORTATION
