Susie Arana, of Kingston, Mass., passed away on Nov. 8. She was 54.
Susie Arena, 54, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Her funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Susie was born March 25, 1962 in Boston, Mass., the daughter of William and Faith Gray and Bill and Nancy Turner. She grew up in Darien before moving to Boston and later settling in Duxbury, Mass.
She was an avid traveler, a teacher of French and Spanish, and had a great love of music and a beautiful singing voice.
She enjoyed spending time with her five children and her two dogs, Tupac and Biggie. She could often be found reading a novel or playing the guitar.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Arana; and her children, Xavi, Clio, Oliver, Frankie, and Maggie; her sister, Lisa Gray, and brother, Andy Gray; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. Kingston, Mass. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Holy Family Church in Duxbury, Mass.
