The community is invited to hear State Rep. Terrie Wood (141st District, Darien-Norwalk) will discuss issues facing state government with a local women’s political group at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 12.
Wood will discuss the state’s serious financial challenges and other key issues facing the current session of the General Assembly.
She will share her outlook on the “state of the state” as policies unfold in Hartford and Washington.
The forum takes place at 11:30 a.m. in the Youth and Community Center at Saint Luke’s Parish, 1864 Post Road, Darien. All are welcome.
The meeting is sponsored by the WomanPower Action Network of CT, group of local women responding to the 2016 election.
