SHREDDED PAPER is permitted in single stream recycling, but it can pose problems at the sorting facility.
One way to help? Make it as compact as possible and place it in an open bag or box.
Don’t worry that some of it may sift out — the bulk of it will make it through the sorting process more easily than if it’s loose.
