The man was arrested on a warrant after he turned himself in at New Canaan Police Department, which gave this description of what happened, including accusations not proven in court:
He “grabbed her shoulder to stop her from running,” according to a news release from the department.
At about 5:40 p.m. on Oct. 31, Andrew Pacicca of Chipmunk Lane approached the 17-year-old, tapped her on the shoulder and started running alongside her.
Pacicca then asked, “Will you have sex with me for $2,000? How much do I have to give you? I’m really frustrated.”

He identified himself as the man who had approached the girl and said he was a sex addict.
Police obtained a warrant and at about 11:06 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, Pacicca turned himself in on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
He was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Dec. 6 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
