Sometime between last Christmas and last Tuesday, Feb. 6, jewelry went missing from the closet of a Tinywood Road resident, police were told.
Darien police said they were told the jewelry was last seen in an upstairs closet of the house. The owner didn’t know exactly what had been taken, so no value was estimated by the time of the police report.
There were no signs that someone had forcefully entered the house. Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
Tinywood Road is a very short street at the far northern end of town, between Hoyt Street and Hollow Tree Ridge Road.
