Gingerbread Man Tree

Take a gingerbread man off the tree in the Town Hall lobby and help bring a smile to someone’s face this holiday! Each gingerbread man includes a gift suggestion that will benefit a family or senior.

Gift cards, games, toys, and small clothing items are welcome. Detailed information and more gift ideas are available at Town Hall. New unwrapped gifts only please. Thank you!

Adopt a Family

Adopt a family on your own or with friends, club or church groups. Families range in size from two to seven people. We provide you with specific gift suggestions to make shopping easier. Add a food gift card to help make their holiday even more special!

Drop your new, wrapped gifts off in our office and your family will pick it up from us. Complete anonymity is assured.

Adopt a Senior

We’ll choose a Darien senior who could use a little extra cheer this holiday season. We provide you with a few gift suggestions and you decide what you decide what to buy.

Drop your new, unwrapped gifts off in our office, and we’ll deliver them to your senior in time for the holidays. Complete anonymity is assured.

The Darien Human Services Department is in Room 109, first floor of Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road. Town Hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
