Artists of all abilities can join accomplished artist Joe LaMorte for his watercolor painting class at the Darien Arts Center this fall.

LaMorte demonstrates basic to advanced watercolor techniques and covers all steps toward completing a finished work, including drawing, color theory, painting techniques and composition.
Students can work on class projects or on their own paintings at their own pace. LaMorte has trained at Cooper Union and the New School in New York City, and Silvermine Arts Center.
Watercolor painting classes are on Mondays through December 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
