You’ve opened all your presents and found a new device: an iPad, a Kindle, an iPhone, an Android, or a new tablet. It’s beautiful. It’s new. It also needs to be filled up! Instead of opening your wallet to buy things to fill up your device, you can borrow them for free from Darien Library, and from Dec. 26 to 30, we’ll give you several ways to learn more.

Join us at one of our technology drop-in sessions on Wednesday, Dec. 28, any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. We’ll help you download books, movies, music, and TV shows to enjoy on your new device. Once you’re set up, you can then download new items from home anytime — even when the Library is closed.

Computer Keyboard 8-2-16As a bonus, for the entire week of Dec. 26 to 30, request the library to purchase an e-Book you’re dying to read that we don’t have yet. We’ll order it immediately and have it in stock for your digital reading pleasure within hours.

Can’t make it this week? Watch for the Family Tech Night in mid-January where we’ll offer drop-in assistance for families. You can also book a one-on-one appointment with one of our librarians—but don’t wait too long to book, as these are limited! Or, if you’ve got a computer nearby, you can send an email to helpdesk@darienlibrary.org.
