Join us for a presentation on navigating the world of college test prep. Lynn Carnegie has helped thousands of parents learn the differences between the SAT and the ACT, when to take SAT Subject Tests, and how to prepare for these tests.

Parents and students are welcome at this free presentation!

The landscape of college admissions testing is becoming increasingly complicated. The ACT overhauled its Writing test last fall. And the College Board released a wholly redesigned SAT in March to better mirror the Common Core standards.

One size does not fit all in test prep, so it’s important to develop a unique plan for each student. Lynn Carnegie, founder of local test prep company Carnegie Pollak, will be giving a free information session at the Cos Cob Library to help parents understand their options and create plans.

“There are so many questions parents don’t even know to ask about this process, especially with the changes to the SAT and ACT this year,” Carnegie says. “My presentations will give an overview of the testing options to help create a plan and make the whole process less daunting.”

Carnegie Pollak has been preparing Fairfield County students for standardized tests for more than 30 years. Their outstanding track record with group classes and private tutoring has earned the company the prestigious Best of the Gold Coast award for more than seven years.

Join Lynn at this free presentation to learn about the PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and ACT; the various options to prepare for these tests; and how to avoid common pitfalls in the process.
