Award-winning singer-songwriter Will Baird will perform an entertaining, free, 45-minute concert Oct. 21 at St. Luke’s Parish Community Center in Darien to celebrate the release of his debut CD, “Coyote Dreams.”

Baird is a former Darien resident and singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt, well-crafted songs and engaging stage presence. He is most often compared to James Taylor.

In the early eighties he was a fixture in the Harvard Square folk scene in Cambridge, performing with artists such as Suzanne Vega and Tracy Chapman. He performs now throughout the Northeast.

The concert starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
