Parents and their children ages pre-K thru eighth grade are invited to attend a Christian Education Open House at the United Church of Rowayton on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at 11:15 a.m.

During the open house, parents and children will be able to talk with teachers about what is taught during the classes. They also can learn about the crafts children create as part of the classroom experience.

“The children’s lessons talk about the same message that is covered during the adult worship service,” said Valerie Harden, director of Christian Education.

“The open house is an excellent opportunity for parents and their children to meet with the teachers to get a better understanding about the Christian Education program here at the church,” she said.

The open house will be held in Fellowship Hall behind the church at 210 Rowayton Ave., Rowayton, Conn. Beverages and snacks will be served, and child care will be provided.
