Darien Library hosts an art reception for local artist Lynne Byrne from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20. The show runs from Jan. 12 to Feb. 16. in the Art Gallery on Darien Library’s Lower Level.

Lynne Byrne’s unique photographic imagery offers a glimpse of the everyday miracles seen in our natural environment. The photographer uses natural light, and close up photography to explore the intricate textures, surfaces, reflections and variations in color that often go unnoticed until we take a longer, closer, more deliberate world around us.
