One more convenience for Darien Library users has just appeared near the parking lot entrance— a standard U.S. Postal Service mailbox.
The mailbox is located behind the drive-up book drop-off structure. (The library’s name for this is: “the 24/7 Book Return” — well, what would you call it?) If you’re still confused about the location, perhaps one of the pictures attached to this story will help. If you go to the fountain, you can’t miss it.
A notice posted on the mailbox says mail will be picked up from it at 3 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.
I call it the “Book Drop Kiosk”!!!!
Just please don’t call it the outhouse! We have heard that.
