These lanes on Interstate 95 in Darien, Stamford and Norwalk will be closed at some points from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, and in Norwalk on Wednesday, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced:
(The lane closures are for bridge inspections. The department didn’t specify whether the northbound-traffic or the southbound-traffic sides of the highway would have the lane closures, so expect both directions.)
Tuesday — 9 AM to 3 PM
Darien, Stamford — alternating left and right lane closures on I-95 between Exits 4 and 7 in Stamford and between Exits 11 and 12 in Darien.
Wednesday to Thursday — Overnight 9 PM to 5 AM
Norwalk —alternating left and right lane closures on I-95 between Exits 13 and 15 .
Two Other Street Closures in Stamford
Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Alternating single lane closures on Washington Boulevard between North and South State Streets.
Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Alternating one way traffic on Guernsey Avenue between North and South State Streets.
